After visiting Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes & Roussillon in the Luberon Valley, the tour continued to the mountain ranges of Les Alpilles ranges which brought us to Saint-Rémy-de Provence & Les Baux-de-Provence.
We didn’t spend much time at Saint-Rémy but it was a cute little village with a beautiful church Paroisse Saint-Martin. Vincent Van Gogh underwent psychiatric treatment in this village and also completed his masterpieces such as The Starry Night here.
Then we went to the top of the mountains to Les Baux which, as the name suggests, is beautiful. It is a medieval village full of hilly streets and cute little craft shops. It is no wonder that this village is considered to be one of the most picturesque villages in all of France.
